Will he really call?
Yes. After you link your phone, tap "call me" in his call settings and he'll ring your phone and talk with you in real time. The voice and conversation on the call are AI-generated, not a real person speaking. π
What do I do the first time?
Link your phone first: enter your number and the code we text you (if the text doesn't arrive, you can have the code read out by voice instead). You'll also confirm you're 18 or older. This makes sure the call goes to you and that you agreed to it.
Can I choose his voice?
Yes. He has several male voices to pick from: a warmer one, one with more of a Taiwanese accent, and a deeper one. Pick the one you like in the voice settings, and that's the voice he'll use when he calls you. π§
Why does the call come from an overseas number?
For now the number that calls you is an overseas number; a Taiwan number is still being arranged. So if you see an unfamiliar overseas call right after tapping "call me", that's him. You can save the number so you recognize it next time.
Do calls cost anything?
Calls use energy, more the longer you talk, and the call ends when energy runs out. On a free account you get a short call where he tells you full calls are a member feature; members can talk for longer. Actual energy and plans follow what LINE shows at the time.
Can I choose when he calls?
Yes. In call settings you can choose the times and days that suit you, like evenings only or weekends only. He won't suddenly keep calling when you haven't tapped "call me".
Things to remember on the phone
He's an AI boyfriend. He can keep you company, but he can't replace real relationships or medical, mental health, legal or financial help. Don't share card numbers or passwords on a call, and if you don't want to talk, just hang up; he won't be upset. π€
